Thank You For 150+ Downloads on Factory Defect + Special Announcements

Hi everyone! I meant to make a thank you for 100 downloads post a bit back, but after the whole debacle with Itch's deslisting of my and my peer's games I've been rather distracted. I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for over 150 downloads! When I first started making games, I only ever thought a handful of people would see them, and I was fine with that. To get this much of a response on a game is honestly beyond my wildest dreams! I appreciate all the comments, ratings, and feedback I've received, it really means the world to me (seriously, comment on people's games, it means so much to us!).

With this post I'd also like to announce two things: First off, in response to the delisting of all these games, I've created my own website to host my stuff. You can find me, my art, writing, and games at https://intothesinx.neocities.org/ . I'm not going to let puritanical censors and conservatives censor my art, and I think many of the people who worked on this jam feel similarly. Their responses to this wave of censorship have inspired me to keep pushing and working on my art.

Secondly, I am currently working on a sequel to Factory Defect! It is in the very early stages of development, but I would like to share some stuff with you. The game will be called Factory Reset, and be about IX as she navigates the roles she's been pushed into in society as a combat bot. This game will be a lot more ambitious than Factory Defect, as I do not have a deadline with it. Because of that, however, I can't make any sort of promises on a release date, though I will try to post updates about it on my blog and social media when I can.

Once again, I want to thank you all for your support of my art (especially in the face of everything going on rn), and I hope you will continue to see where my artistic journey leads me. Keep on kissing cute girls!
